Written Statements must be submitted via 12 noon on 10 January and are circulated to committee members in advance of the meeting. You may also present that statement at the meeting if you wish - see here for full details of the process.
Objections - please submit to planners by 4 January so that numbers can be included in the Officer’s Report. In all cases please emphasise how the plans affect you. Remember to quote the planning application reference 11/02609/F and remember to include your name and address. You may:

Points you might like to consider: - The scale, height and massing of the block of residential flats.
- The appearance of the flats; "unattractive, overbearing and out of keeping with the area" (as stated by the Bristol Urban Design Forum, see their letter here).
- The effect that such a large number of new people will have on the amenity of the area (lack of parking and recreational space, need for additional school places, extra traffic). GCCC don’t want to contribute any new money towards the locality as they say they need it all to fund the development. - The effect of the block on the new Brunel Fields school. - The flats will not meet the council's requirements for sustainable building & carbon reduction.
